    Diane Kress, RD CDE is the author of The Metabolism Miracle; the New York Times Bestseller that has changed the way people lose weight, get healthy and experience a resurgence of vitality and well-being. The Metabolism Miracle was first released in April, 2009 and the paperback version was published in January, 2011. She next wrote and released the complementary cookbook to The Metabolism Miracle called: The Metabolism Miracle Cookbook. In January, 2012, she will release her groundbreaking book on diabetes prevention and management titled: The Diabetes Miracle. This book is sure to become the “essential guidebook” for self management of this debilitating disease as it helps readers prevent or control type 2 diabetes using little or no medication.

Diane Kress a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator who herself has type 2 diabetes, has over 30 years experience working with patients to solve weight and blood sugar issues. Although trained traditionally, she ultimately realized that the “recommended” diets for weight reduction didn’t work for all patients. Over time, she realized that over 55% of patients struggling with weight and trying to adhere to traditional restrictive diets actually continued to gain weight and required more and more medications for cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure, depression. Some patients progressed to type 2 diabetes.
